Port Angeles

Since 1993, Western’s College of the Environment on the Peninsulas has offered students the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree on the Olympic Peninsula.

Originally established with funding provided to retrain workers impacted by the Northwest Forest Plan and subsequent Rayioner Mill closure, today’s self-sustaining programs continue to serve the educational needs of the community of Port Angeles and the surrounding Clallam County area.
