Advising

Our program coordinators at Western on the Peninsulas provide academic advising to students, sharing valuable information, experience, and insight to guide them in evaluating and realizing their potential.

Working alongside students, our advisors:

  • Assist in developing meaningful personal, educational, and career goals aligned with students' interests, values, and abilities.
  • Guide students through planning and decision-making processes related to goal achievement.
  • Help students leverage academic success resources to reach their objectives.
  • Empower students to become self-directed, autonomous learners, capitalizing on educational opportunities and networks.

The student's role involves appropriately applying the shared information, experience, and insight from their academic advisor to the planning and decision-making process, facilitating the exploration and achievement of their goals.
