Guaranteed Transfer Admission

Any transfer student who completes a transferable associate degree at Peninsula College or Olympic College, and meets the eligibility requirements, is guaranteed admission to Western Washington University.

We recognize that college is a big investment and at Western, there is a range of resources available to you and your family to help pay for college. Explore detailed cost estimates, a net price calculator, and budget worksheets to help navigate the cost of your education.

We encourage all students to apply for financial aid, even if they don’t think they will qualify. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) is the first step to accessing scholarships, grants, and other types of aid. Last year, WWU students received more than $8 million in scholarships.
